# Chance Chain

Chance Chain is a sovereign L1 blockchain that will host the future of Chance Markets. Chance Chain is a L1 blockchain built using the Avalanche stack and will host several unique projects and products for Chance Markets.

One of the main features of the Chance Chain ecosystem will be our Custom Oracle System called Chance Oracles. Chance Oracles will enable us to bring a unique data structure onchain for any token, regardless of its liquidity or trading volume metrics. The Chance Oracles look to help bridge the gap for smaller and newer cryptos in the avalanche ecosystem and beyond.

Chance Chain will also host our Custom Prediction Markets. Custom Prediction Markets is a new system to Chance Markets, enabling users to create their own prediction markets. These CPMs will feature a high degree of customizability. This will range from participation setting, to reward distribution automation abilities, to whitelisted assets for prize pools, and more.

Chance Chain launched on the Etna Devnet on Friday, December 6th utilizing the L1Launcher by GoGoPool.

Chance Chain launched as a part of the Retro9000 campaign. You can see our entire application to the program here:
